Hull:
Ice re-enforced, made from arctic quality steel with a thickness of 15mm in stem, bow and keel.
Rest of underwater hull up to 30cm/1ft above waterline: 12mm. Remaining hull sides: 8mm
Frames are 100x10mm spaced at 50cm. Every third frame is ice re-enforced T 100x100x30mm
The hull is divided into 4 water-tight collision compartments and 7 water-tight main compartments, accessible through 6 water-tight and fire-proof steel doors.
